South African Grammy-winning sensation Tyla has added another remarkable achievement to her growing list of accolades. The 22-year-old artist has been named one of the 100 Most Influential African Women for 2024, joining an elite group of trailblazing women making an impact across various fields.

The announcement, made by Ghanaian-based media and PR company Avance Media, recognizes Tyla’s contributions to music and culture. Known for her global hit singles and record-breaking achievements, Tyla continues to solidify her status as a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry.

Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela broke the exciting news on Tuesday, January 21, via his social media platforms, highlighting Tyla’s inclusion on the prestigious list. Alongside Tyla, Nigerian-born model Chidimma Adetshina also earned a spot, showcasing the diverse talents of African women on the global stage.

Tyla’s inclusion comes as no surprise to her fans and industry peers. Over the past year, the Water hitmaker has achieved incredible milestones, including her debut album being certified gold in the United States. Her music and performances have captivated audiences worldwide, earning her critical acclaim and cementing her position as one of South Africa’s brightest stars.

Reflecting on her achievement, fans and supporters celebrated Tyla’s recognition, taking to social media to praise her hard work and dedication. “Tyla is doing so well man !!!.”

The 100 Most Influential African Women list is an annual initiative by Avance Media to honor women who excel in their respective fields and inspire others through their work. The list highlights leaders, change-makers, and icons from across the continent, shining a spotlight on their contributions to society.

As she continues to soar to new heights, Tyla’s journey exemplifies the power of passion, hard work, and staying true to one’s roots. This recognition is yet another milestone in a career that shows no signs of slowing down.
