Rising Amapiano star Stixx has taken a moment to publicly show his appreciation for his long-time mentor, Kelvin Momo, one of the genre’s most respected figures. Known for his deep, soulful contributions to Amapiano, Kelvin Momo has played a significant role in shaping Stixx’s career, guiding him through the ups and downs of the industry. Recently, Stixx shared a heartfelt message on his Instagram, thanking Momo for the impact he’s had on his life and career.

In a touching Instagram story, Stixx wrote, “@kelvinmomo_bhuti thank you soo much for everything you have done for me you played a huge role in my life and I don’t take any of it for granted. Thank God for having such a big brother. Unkulunkulu aku busise kakhulu (May God bless you a lot). Frostaan i blind Lana kuwe (I appreciate you a lot).” The post was a sincere reflection of the gratitude Stixx feels for Momo, who has been a constant mentor, offering guidance and support throughout Stixx’s journey in the music industry.

Kelvin Momo, known as the principal of the “Private School Amapiano” movement, has been a pivotal figure in the South African Amapiano scene, helping to elevate the genre with his unique sound and approach. His influence has not only shaped the direction of Amapiano music but also helped launch the careers of several talented artists, including Stixx. The bond between the two goes beyond music, with Momo acting as a big brother figure to Stixx, who often credits him for his growth both personally and professionally.

The duo recently collaborated on the much-anticipated project “Jazz Cruise Series Vol.1,” which has been making waves in the Amapiano community. Their joint effort blends Momo’s signature style with Stixx’s fresh energy, showcasing the powerful synergy between mentor and mentee. The project’s success speaks volumes about the chemistry between them, and it’s clear that the mentorship has been instrumental in helping Stixx find his footing in the industry.
