Uncle Waffles Reacts To Playing At The Met Gala After Party. The fashion world has gathered in New York City for the annual Met Gala once again – this year themed on the late fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld.The event, known for its star-studded guest list and extravagant outfits, included pearls, starched collars, and black and white to honour the designer.The invitation-only fundraiser for the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art hosted about 400 guests.
For this year’s theme – “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” – attendees were asked to wear clothes “in honour of Karl”.For decades, Lagerfeld was at the helm of some of the biggest-name fashion houses in the world, including Chanel and Fendi.
Not only was the night for fashion statement, but gave amapiano star Uncle Waffles a chance to perform at the after party. She shared her excitement on social media with emojies showing her gratitude towards the milestone.
Perhaps one of the most memorable moments of the night was tennis star Serena Williams and model Karlie Kloss publicly announcing their pregnancies as they walked the cream, red and blue carpet.Williams, 41, is expecting her second child with husband Alexis Ohanian, and Kloss, 30, her second child with husband Joshua Kushner.
