Focalistic Opens Up About The Impact Of Tik Tok On Amapiano. Lethabo Sebetso (born 26 May 1996), professionally known as Focalistic, is a South African rapper. Born and raised in Pretoria, Sebetso was a footballer prior pursuing a music career as a rapper, released his debut studio album Sgubhu Ses Excellent (2020).
Foca has become one of Mzansi’s most famous faces within the space of three years. The self-proclaimed president of the streets is a university graduate who had ambitions of being a soccer player in his earlier years, hence the nickname Maradonna. Speaking on the impact of Tik Tok on Amapiano, Maradonna said: “Inever had TikTok until a year ago, so I used to hear that my sound was trending there and I didn’t understand what it meant. So I never had to change, just today my little brother was calling me about my song and a [new] challenge – and I didn’t even know about it.”
