It’s been only a couple of years but their rise to fame has been nothing short of astronomical. However, the DJing duo remain grounded as ever.
Tarryn Reid and Clairise Hefke who are famously known as TxC will be sporting Mzansi at FIFA World Cup in Qatar with their DJing skill.They are set to take the world’s stage at BUDX Doha during the upcoming 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup.
The South African musical duo revealed to GQ that they will be performing in the gulf country on November 30 to December 3.According to the magazine, “TxC has been signed to the international cast of Budweiser who are the official partners of the much-anticipated soccer spectacle.”
Speaking about what they look forward to in the world cup, the duo said: “With the Global Pandemic that hit the World so hard and restricted such prestigious events, it is going to be amazing to be surrounded by a World Cup atmosphere and the bonus will be seeing how Amapiano resonates with the World Cup.”
TxC duo grew up in Gqeberha. “We stayed in Cape Town for a while and now we’re based in Johannesburg.” Being young girls in the Eastern Cape city, they could never have imagined how quickly they would rise to fame – and it’s all thanks to amapiano.”All our International shows to date have always been sold out so we’re looking forward to another sold-out show,” said Clairise.
