5 Things You Should Know About Amapiano Trip Kota Embassy. The first half of 2022 has been flooded with back-to-back amapiano hits as ‘piano artists made significant strides towards the growth and expansion of the genre. The sound continues to travel and make waves across the world and, though it won’t happen overnight, the globalisation of ‘piano is in full effect. “Amapiano To The World” is no longer just a catchy-phrase but a mantra many artists are working towards. The genre has introduced a lot of talent till date.

Check out these 5 facts about the trio:

1 Kota Embassy is an amapiano trio which hail from Pretoria, south Africa. The group consists consists of three producers namely, Itumeleng Matome (Tumza D’kota), Nkateko Tshabalala (N’kay) and Nimrod Pitso (Nim).

2 Kota Embassy is Founded in 2015 and is amongst the list of the infamous amapiano pioneers, having a hand in the upbringing of the amazing new exciting South African sound.

3 The trio have shared stage with several industry big shots including Major League, Kabza De Small, DZO and others too numerous to mention.

4 About two years, the trio dropped an EP titled On & Off – A 12 track project that is heavily influenced by the soulful sounds of Amapiano that has now been dubbed Private school Piano.. “On & Off is reimagining a couple of songs from various generations of house music, and is done subtly in some cases and in other is just a direct recreation of the song. For instance in the case of DFL which sounds like a direct take of Mas Musiq’s Ngizomlobola.”

5 They are also dubbed as thr pioneers of private school piano.
