Prince Kaybee Blames Record Label After New Single With Aymos Fails To Make The Radio Monitor Charts. It seems the battle between record labels and artists is far from being over. Most artists have since come out complaining about being exploited nor sabotaged by record labels they are signed under, and Prince Kaybee has shared some sentiments too.

Prince Kaybee has opened up about his latest and just released track featuring Black Motion and Aymos titled ‘Menateng’, which he believes was sabotaged by the record label he’s signed under. Prince Kaybee said he submitted the song two months ago at Universal Records, however, it was only dropped two weeks ago, and with that being, missed on radio monitor. “Its very bad, I submitted a single two months ago and it dropped two weeks ago, nothing on the radio monitor. i know Artists that dropped this past Thursday they charting already,” he wrote. See tweet:

Concept: LinneaSonka

I don’t wanna lie, my songs do the work, I can’t wait to leave Universal💔 pic.twitter.com/8FBmgLmljN

Record producer and DJ Heavy K also shared his sentiments on the matter, saying that’s how most record labels operate. He said the record label can put ones career on hold. “Welcome to the club King! Those people put my career on hold, I was on my peak when I signed with them but they still didn’t do anything for me but a bunch of useless meetings with no changes, Kabelo unemali bro pay for your own things n release great music for your fans,” he commented.

Prince Kaybee further explained that he was doing just fine at the record label before things changed. He mentioned that his contract was fine before a guy named Themba was still at the label, but since he left, everything has been going left like being told not to release music at a certain time nor record. “I don’t wanna lie I was fine at Universal, my contract made sense while Themba was still at Universal, now they hired this other guy from Sony, Fok its terrible. When u want studio he says its not time yet, imagine a talentless person telling you when to be creative.”

Aymos on the other hand has been doing quite well in his career since breaking into fame last year. The star has been scoring features with some of the biggest artists in the industry, both amapiano and Afrohouse.
