DJ Maphorisa is helping fans prepare for the highly anticipated Scorpion Kings Live show by sharing details of a transport plan designed to make travelling to and from FNB Stadium easier.

The major event, headlined by DJ Maphorisa and Kabza De Small, is set to take place at FNB Stadium on Saturday, 19 September 2026. With thousands of music lovers expected to attend, transport and safety have become important considerations for those making their way to the venue.

Maphorisa took to social media to outline the transport options available to fans, encouraging them to make use of public transport instead of dealing with traffic and the challenges of finding parking around the stadium.

In a selfie-style video filmed near what appears to be FNB Stadium, the Amapiano heavyweight spoke directly to fans about the arrangements, highlighting Gautrain as a convenient option for those travelling to the show.

He captioned the post: “@theGautrain is your #TransportPlug for Scorpion Kings! 🚆🔥 Make the RIGHT choice, no traffic, no stress, just vibes. 🎶 See you at FNB Stadium! 🔥”

According to the information shared by Maphorisa, fans can take a train to Park Station, where free buses will be available to transport them to FNB Stadium. The buses will operate from 10am until 8:30pm, giving concertgoers a dedicated connection between the station and the venue throughout the day.

For fans making their way home after the concert, return buses will operate from FNB Stadium back to Park Station from 11pm. The last train from Park Station is scheduled to depart at 2am, providing fans with a later transport option following the event.

Maphorisa also shared information for those who plan to drive. Parking at Park Station while using the dedicated bus service will cost R195, while parking at another station and continuing the journey by train will cost R10.

The DJ further encouraged fans to follow the “How Train” page for live updates and transport information on the day.

The transport announcement comes as fans prepare for what is expected to be a major night for South African music. Scorpion Kings Live brings together a wide-ranging lineup of artists and performers, with Maphorisa and Kabza De Small at the centre of the celebration.

As excitement builds around the event, Maphorisa’s transport plan gives attendees another option to consider when planning their journey. For fans attending, checking the latest transport information before leaving home and allowing enough time for the journey will be important as they make their way to FNB Stadium.
