The weekend soundtrack has officially arrived as Amapiano powerhouse duo TxC finally release their highly anticipated EP, “Straata.” Packed with infectious rhythms, heavyweight collaborations, and signature Amapiano energy, the six-track project is already being hailed as one of the most exciting releases of the season.

Over the past few years, TxC have grown into one of the most recognizable names in African dance music. The talented duo have become regular fixtures on major stages across the globe, representing South African music at some of the biggest festivals and events. Their popularity has expanded far beyond local borders, with fans embracing their sound in countries across Africa and beyond.

One of the strongest examples of their growing influence can be seen in Nigeria, where the duo have become increasingly popular among music lovers. Their ability to blend authentic Amapiano elements with global appeal has allowed them to connect with audiences from different backgrounds while staying true to their roots.

Now, they have added another impressive chapter to their journey with the release of “Straata,” an EP designed for the streets, the dancefloors, and everyone who appreciates high-quality Amapiano music.

The project consists of six tracks that showcase TxC’s remarkable ability to create timeless records. Throughout the EP, listeners are treated to rich chord progressions, powerful log drums, infectious percussion, and carefully crafted melodies that highlight the essence of the genre. Rather than following trends, TxC lean into the core elements that have made Amapiano one of the most influential sounds to emerge from South Africa.

“Straata” also boasts an impressive lineup of collaborators. The duo enlisted talents from both South Africa and Nigeria, creating a project that reflects the growing unity between African music scenes. Featured artists include Nigerian star Zlatan alongside South African heavyweights such as Al Xapo, XDuppy, EeQue, Optimist Music ZA, DBN Gogo, Benzoo, W4DE, DJy Zan SA, Scotts Maphuma, and Shoday.

Each artist brings their own flavor to the project, adding unique vocal performances, production touches, and creative energy that enrich the overall listening experience. Despite the number of contributors, the EP remains cohesive and true to TxC’s artistic vision.

One of the most impressive aspects of “Straata” is its meticulous sound design. Every track feels intentional, polished, and carefully constructed to maximize both emotional impact and dancefloor appeal. The duo’s production skills shine throughout the project, demonstrating why they are among the most respected female producers and DJs in the Amapiano space.

With “Straata,” TxC have delivered exactly what fans were hoping for—a bold, energetic, and authentic Amapiano project. As their global profile continues to rise, this EP serves as another reminder that TxC are not just representing the streets; they are helping take South African music to the world.
