South African soulful house duo Artwork Sounds have returned with a powerful new project titled The Gospel According to Artwork Sounds: Chapter IV, a deeply spiritual and immersive album that blends dance music with themes of faith, healing, and reflection. The project is led by the standout focus track “Umkhuleko,” which sets the tone for the entire body of work.

Known for their ability to merge soulful house with meaningful storytelling, Artwork Sounds once again deliver a project that goes beyond the dance floor. Chapter IV was born from late-night studio sessions and moments of deep reflection, resulting in an album that captures the emotional and spiritual depth that has become a signature of their sound.

At the center of the project is “Umkhuleko,” a track that perfectly reflects the album’s message. The word “Umkhuleko,” meaning prayer, represents the album’s core theme of spirituality and connection. With layered instrumentation, rich harmonies, and soulful melodies, the song blends gospel influences with rhythmic house elements, creating a sound that resonates both emotionally and spiritually.

Throughout the album, Artwork Sounds explore the powerful intersection of dance music and spiritual expression. By blending amapiano textures, soulful house grooves, and gospel-inspired arrangements, the duo craft a listening experience that moves both the body and the spirit.

More than just another dance album, The Gospel According to Artwork Sounds: Chapter IV serves as a continuation of the duo’s musical journey. The project reinforces their dedication to creating music that carries meaning while still maintaining the energy and rhythm that defines house music culture.

Artwork Sounds is made up of George Lesley and Rofhiwa Ndou, two musicians whose combined talents have helped shape their distinctive sound. George Lesley, a highly respected bassist and member of the iconic South African group Mafikizolo, brings live musical depth and instrumental richness to the duo’s productions. Meanwhile, Soultronixx, known for his international production connections and experience, contributes a global perspective that helps elevate their music to broader audiences.

Over the years, the duo has become a dominant force in the soulful house scene, earning multiple No.1 positions on Traxsource, one of the world’s leading platforms for house music. Their previous hits, including “Love Is Real” and “You Give Me Love,” have cemented their reputation for creating emotionally resonant and spiritually uplifting music.

With Chapter IV, Artwork Sounds continue to expand their artistic vision while staying grounded in their roots of soul, culture, and faith. The album highlights their ability to craft music that connects deeply with listeners while maintaining the groove and rhythm that defines their sound.

As the global house music scene continues to grow, Artwork Sounds remain committed to authenticity, delivering music that inspires reflection, healing, and unity through sound.
