Amapiano heavyweight Mr Jazziq is setting the tone for a massive 2026 as he celebrates his birthday and gears up for the release of his highly anticipated ninth studio album, 03:03. Leading the charge is his explosive new single, Wololo, featuring a powerhouse lineup including Focalistic, Vigro Deep, Freddy K and MJ.
“Wololo” is an electrifying fusion of gqom, old school house and signature log drum elements, delivering both high-energy rhythm and lyrical depth. With verses by MJ and Focalistic and production driven by Jazziq, Vigro Deep and Freddy K, the track carries a powerful message of resilience. The phrase “Wololo ke halala” loosely translates to “whatever the universe serves, I still move forward and I will still win” — a mantra that reflects Mr Jazziq’s unwavering commitment to his craft.
The single also marks the official pre-order launch of 03:03, a 14-track body of work dropping on 3 March 2026. The album is described as a reflection of Jazziq’s six-year journey in the music industry, charting his growth, challenges and triumphs. It opens with an intro from sobriety advocate Madala TK, setting a reflective and motivational tone for what follows.
03:03 boasts an impressive list of collaborators, including Vigro Deep, Chley, King P, Mpho Spizzy, MJ, Focalistic, Sje Konka, Zwayveton and Tete — further cementing Jazziq’s reputation as both a hitmaker and collaborator. The project promises a blend of innovation and signature amapiano flair that has defined his sound.
Beyond the music, Mr Jazziq is bringing the celebration to the stage with Vibes on Main Bloemfontein, set to take place on 28 February 2026 at the Bloemfontein Old Grey Showgrounds. The event will feature a star-studded lineup including Mr Jazziq, Kabza De Small, DBN GOGO, Toss and Stino le Thwenny, alongside local talent.
Early bird tickets are priced at R100 (limited to 1,000), followed by R180 online and R230 at the door.
