Felo Le Tee Still In Awe After UK Crowd Showed Him Love. Musician Felo Le Tee is blazing up dance floors, and if you haven’t heard his throbbing hit, Dipatje Tsa Felo, I don’t know which rock you have been living under.Born Tsholofelo Mokhine, since breaking into the music scene with his other hits songs such as 66, Bopha and Guluva, he has been regarded as a musical genius by many with the help of his mentor DJ Maphorisa.
During this weekend’s amapiano festival, Ama Fest, in London, it was superstar producer and DJ Felo Le Tee who stole the show and has been receiving all the plaudits online for his show-stopping performance.Felo shared a reel of his performance that saw the DJ move from behind the DJ decks to the front of the stage at the South of England (SOE) Showground as he performed his latest hit single “Manca” featuring Toss. During his performance he was joined on stage by Young Stunna and Zeus Omega.
Felo is still stunned by the amount of love he received overseas. He took to social media to share that his wish is to be South Africa’s baby boy to take the sound and culture to the world. He also shared that performing in front of the UK crowd past weekend is something he always dreamt about and wishes to do it again, in front on South Africa’s crowd this time. “1 of my greatest wish is not only to be SA’s baby boy but the worlds baby boi & export the sound & culture to the world alongside some of the best artists in our land.I know that needs a lot of work in the studio. If God can grant me more time, I’ll do my very best.”
“Lol back then at home, I use to switch off the lights in my room & play music through my headphones & I would close my eyes & imagine THIS HUGE crowd while I was DJ/Performing. It’s still a dream in progress I would love to experience even more, especially with people 4rm home,” he added.
Speaking on how he got into the music industry, Feli said: “I first started out as a DJ, my uncle Abby was the one who taught me the ins and outs of mixing and DJing. I then started producing music when I got to grade 10. After I completed matric, I actually wanted to study music but because I didn’t know which avenues or schools to go to, I ended up studying sound technology at Damelin. By the time I found the music school I wanted to study at, I realised it was too late.”
