Amapiano ghost producer Tony Duardo who is behind some of the biggest amapiano hits in the country, has worked with multiple industry stars within the Amapiano space including DJ Maphorisa, Major League DJz, Uncle Waffles and more. His most recent creation is the song titled Tanzania by DJ sensation Uncle Waffles, featuring Sino Msolo and Boibizza.
After years of working behind the scenes, the multi-talented producer is ready to embrace the spotlight. “I was happy with being a ghost producer, songwriter, and empowering other creatives in the industry. For me, it’s not about shining or being a star,” he said. “A lot of people would ask why I’ve decided to come out now in the public eye. I guess I’ve realized my purpose. I don’t really care about titles, but I know I am the greatest to ever do it,” Tony revealed.
Tony Duardo is confident that his music is here to stay as he makes classics that are here to stay. “This is just the beginning,” he says. “I’m an artist. I have a vision and a purpose. I’m here to stay, and they will know my name. They will cry with me, laugh with me, dance with me, and celebrate with me. He is currently in the studio working on his upcoming project with Seekay, Burna boy, Victony, Major League, Ciza, DJ Maphorisa and Daliwonga.“I have some international collaborations that I cannot mention as yet but I am working on four upcoming Mixtapes, and EPs, and people should get used to seeing more of my work this year,” he concluded.
