Major League DJz Reveal Why They Don’t Want To Be In Relationships. Major League DJz is a South African music band created by Bandile and Banele Mbere. The twin brothers were born on January 3, 1991, in Boston, the United States. The African Dance music duo consists of twin brothers born in America, but raised on South African soil. The music band has made a great impact in the entertainment industry. They hail from a musical background as their father was into music.

The duo say their success is the reason why some artists want to leave their music genres, such as hip hop, for Amapiano. “They think they’ll make money quickly, but the truth is that it takes time.”

When it comes to relationships, the duo says they are single and not ready to mingle.“We don’t want to be in relationships because they take most of your time. Girls will want all our attention and we can’t have that,” Bandile chuckles.

The growth of Amapiano has led to the world listening to the duo’s music. Having performed all over the world, the duo says they’ve been mostly well received in Europe. “We’ve been all over, but the most receptive country has been the UK after we introduced this genre to them. We wanted to create a culture with the Amapiano sound. We wanted to grow the genre beyond South Africa,” Banele explains. “We basically became the face of the genre and we’ve been that to the world for a while now,” Bandile added.
