Is Rapper Fifi Cooper Making A Comeback With Amapiano? Refilwe Boingotlo Moeketsi, known professionally as Fifi Cooper is a South African recording artist. Fifi Cooper started her music career as an R&B singer before her musical versatility saw her release her breakthrough rap single “Chechela Morago” in 2010. After a series of successful music releases and features, Fifi Cooper left the record label she was signed under, and it has been a struggle for the artist to make a comeback.

Sol Phenduka, a South African radio personality, DJ, music producer, reality TV star, composer and songwriter shared on social media that he saw rapper Fifi Cooper Making a comeback with amapiano, and this has sparked some debate and interest as to whether the star will indeed make a comeback with amapiano.

Fifi recently announced the start and launch of her record label, while dropping a new song ‘Motlogeleng’ after a while. The direct translation of Motlogeleng is “leave him alone,” which is Fifi Cooper’s order to other women who think that they will be able to achieve the love they have if they steal her boyfriend from her. The song takes on a vibrant pop beat with African adlibs that bring a traditional element to it. The cover art shows Fifi Cooper in the arms of a man, whilst dressed with beads in her hair and around her neck.

The song serves as the second single from her upcoming album, Chapter, which will be released under her independent record label, Mo Cooper Records. The song is said to be an ode to Black love and the importance of having someone treat you with love and respect, in order to contribute to your personal growth.
