10 Things You Should About JazziDisciples. JazziDisciples was a Dance music Disc Jockey and producer duo. The duo were fore runners of the Amapiano genre and they have been able to make a name for themselves from the amapiano genre. JazziDisciples are known for their hit series Black Music and their hit songs such as “Sghubu Se Monati” among many others.

Here are 10 things you should know about the musical duo:

1 The group is made up of Tumelo Manyani also known as “Mr JazziQ’ and Josiah Makoena Josiah De Disciple.

2 JazziDisciples music group members are originally from Alexandra township, North of Johannesburg

3 Their interest for music started at a very young age and over time they have been able to perfect their production and song delivery skills.

4 JazziDisciples have since their debut performed on top stages with big artists in the industry, among these are Cassper Nyovest, Black Coffee and a few others.

5 In 2019, JazziDisciples debuted their inaugural album, Disciples Of Piano.

6 JazziDisciples have released seven studio albums and eps, and have numerous songs

7 Since their debut, the duo have gotten various recognition and nominations for their songs. Among these recognition is their nomination for Best Amapiano record at the Dance Music Awards South Africa in 2019.

8 In 2020, the duo split. “We decided to move from JazziDisciples mainly because we did not want to be glued together as we both believe that we have the potential to grow as individuals, being a duo has taught us both new and entertaining ways to do music, I am grateful for thaT,” said Mr JazziQ.

9 Although the two have split from their musical group, there is no bad blood between them.

10 Tumelo says coming into the industry was hard because fans were used to getting free music from the artists; hence, the transition to selling music was difficult.
