Focalistic Lists Two Things He Hates. Focalistic aka Pitori Maradona raps in Sepitori, a vernacular spoken in Pretoria townships made up of a variety of South African languages, mostly Sesotho, Setswana and tsotsitaal (slang). His flows contorts accordingly to sit over the undulating beats. Hip-hop, old school kwaito and Pitori’s diBarcadi house music are some of the genres he references. His music consolidates a lineage of the genres he grew up listening to.

Focalistic took to social media listing two things he hates, including the devil and load shedding. “I only hate 2 things : – The devil – & LOADSHEDDING. DEMMET,” he wrote. See tweet:

This comes after Eskom had announced that South Africa will move to stage 4 load shedding at 14h00 on Wednesday, 9 June. The extended power cuts expected continue until 22h00, after which the country will revert to stage 2 as previously communicated, the power utility said. Eskom said that the move to higher load shedding was due to additional breakdowns at Medupi and Duvha power stations. It said that the higher stage was needed to station the remaining energy reserves and maintain stability on the national grid.

South Africa was a dark country yesteday which left a lot of people complaining due to load shedding. Disc Jockey Prince Kaybee is one of those who gave some advice with regards to the load shedding. “Invest in a good generator if you have the money. Its going to get worse #Loadshedding,” He tweeted.

One social media user wrote: “Can somebody please tell us how much money the economy is losing due to loadshedding. This information was readily available during Jacob Zuma administration. #eNCA even had an anchor who was showing us slides on a touch screen. #Loadshedding.” Here are some reactions to the load shedding:

Why does Eskom fail?

They know that they are the only entity that is allowed to supply electricity. Their monopoly status makes them say, 'Ok'salayo, we do as we please because they can't find electricity at another company'#Loadshedding
