The Amapiano star has thanked his supporters for their continued love following the release of his highly anticipated sophomore project on October 21, 2026.
The achievement comes as fans continue to embrace the new body of work, which features 16 tracks and marks Young Stunna’s return with a full-length album following his debut project, Notumato, released in 2021.
Taking to Instagram to celebrate the milestone, Young Stunna expressed his gratitude to everyone who has supported him throughout his journey. The singer wrote, “Thank you for being part of my beautiful journey. 🧡🙏🏾 ALBUM NO.1, this one is for ya’ll. 🤞🏾🥹🧡 BUSISIWE OUT NOOOOOW !!!!”
His message reflected the excitement surrounding the album’s reception, with the artist acknowledging the listeners who have helped make the release a special moment in his career.
Beyond its chart performance, Busisiwe carries a deeply personal meaning for Young Stunna. The album is named after his late great-grandmother, Busisiwe, affectionately known within the family as “Mama”. The singer recently opened up about the woman who played an important role in shaping his life, creativity and musical ambitions.
Young Stunna revealed that his great-grandmother helped raise him alongside his grandmothers, providing love, guidance and support throughout his childhood. He also recalled how she believed in his dreams of becoming a musician, even when others in the family questioned his decision to pursue music.
Mama supported his ambitions by giving him money to travel to gigs and ensuring he could make his way home. Her influence also extended to his creative interests, including fashion and music, making the album a tribute to the person who helped shape the artist he is today.
By naming the project after her, Young Stunna has given Busisiwe a meaning that goes beyond its music. The album celebrates family, gratitude and the lasting influence of someone who believed in him from the beginning.
The No. 1 position on Apple Music adds another exciting chapter to the release, as listeners continue to discover the 16-track project. For Young Stunna, the milestone is also an opportunity to celebrate the journey that brought him here.
With Busisiwe now leading the Apple Music chart, the singer is enjoying a strong start to this new era. Fans can stream the album and join him in celebrating a project dedicated to the woman whose love and belief helped shape his journey.
