DJ Maphorisa has given fans another glimpse into his love for luxury and classic motoring after showing off his collection of BMW 325iS cars at his new entertainment venture, The Lawd Gardens. The Amapiano heavyweight recently took to social media to share the impressive lineup, drawing attention to the vehicles that have become part of his signature style.
Known for his influence on South Africa’s music scene, DJ Maphorisa continues to make headlines through his music, major events and lifestyle. This time, it was his collection of Gusheshes that caught fans’ attention, as he displayed several BMW 325iS models at the new venue.
Taking to social media, the producer shared his excitement with a playful caption, writing: “Hai nyake mokhalabe Di carrr jo.”
The display featured five BMW 325iS vehicles in total: three red cars, one black car and one white car. The classic BMW models, affectionately known as Gusheshes in South Africa, have a strong place in the country’s car culture, particularly among enthusiasts who appreciate their distinctive design, performance heritage and street appeal.
For DJ Maphorisa, showcasing the vehicles offered another opportunity to share a personal interest with his followers. The cars also fit into the public image he has built over the years, with his love for the iconic BMW models becoming a recognisable part of his lifestyle.
The car showcase comes as Maphorisa continues to build excitement around The Lawd Gardens, his new entertainment event taking place every Sunday in Midrand. The venue is positioned as another space for music lovers to gather, enjoy performances and experience the producer’s wider entertainment vision.
By combining music, lifestyle and an eye-catching display of cars, the event adds another dimension to Maphorisa’s activities beyond the studio and stage. His influence extends across Amapiano, where he has helped shape the sound through production, collaborations and his work with some of the genre’s biggest names.
The BMW 325iS, in particular, holds cultural significance in South Africa, where the Gusheshe has long been associated with car enthusiasts, custom builds and an unmistakable presence on the road. Seeing five examples displayed together naturally makes for a striking showcase.
DJ Maphorisa has not only kept fans talking through his musical output but has also continued to attract attention through his ventures and personal interests. With The Lawd Gardens set to host Sunday gatherings in Midrand, the latest car display gives audiences another reason to follow what he is doing.
