Ntsako XVI is opening a new chapter in his musical journey with the release of XVI’s Diary, an eight-track EP that gives listeners a deeper look into his artistry through soulful melodies, emotive soundscapes and carefully crafted production.

The young Amapiano talent has been steadily carving out his own space within the genre, earning attention for his distinctive approach to production and his ability to create sounds that connect with a younger generation of listeners. With XVI’s Diary, Ntsako XVI continues that journey while revealing a softer and more reflective side of his artistry.

Known for his hard-hitting take on Amapiano, the producer has built a reputation around bold beats and energetic productions. However, his latest project shows that there is more to his musical identity than the intensity that listeners may already associate with his name.

XVI’s Diary is a collection of eight tracks that feels like an intimate musical journal, documenting different moments and emotions from Ntsako XVI’s journey through the Amapiano scene. Rather than relying solely on the mainstream piano formula, the producer explores a more soulful direction, allowing melody and emotion to take a more prominent role.

The project features an impressive list of collaborators, including Uncool MC, Ch’cco, Nkulee501, Springle, Philharmonic, LeeroSoul and Shaun 101. Their contributions add different textures to the EP while complementing Ntsako XVI’s evolving production style.

Each track contributes to the overall feeling of a diary being opened for listeners. The project allows fans to experience the producer from a different perspective, with its melodic arrangements and soulful elements creating room for reflection alongside the energy associated with Amapiano.

For a young artist operating in one of South Africa’s fastest-evolving genres, experimentation is an important part of building a lasting identity. Ntsako XVI appears to understand that, using XVI’s Diary to push beyond familiar territory and explore what else his sound can become.

The EP also highlights the creative possibilities within Amapiano, a genre that continues to welcome producers who are willing to experiment with rhythm, melody and different influences. Ntsako XVI’s latest offering adds another layer to that evolution.

With XVI’s Diary, Ntsako XVI is not simply delivering another collection of Amapiano tracks. He is using beats, bass and soulful melodies to tell his story, giving listeners an opportunity to hear the journey behind the producer and discover a different side of his artistry.
