Dlala Thukzin, one of the standout performers, shared his thoughts with TshisaLive, reflecting on the event’s deeper significance: “My brother, we were not here to render our services but to meet our friends, family, and fans so we can showcase our craft and they can witness it firsthand. You know, as artists, we have busy schedules around the world, but I appreciate the love people have shown to each and every artist who has performed at the Friends of Amstel. I’m currently preparing for Soundland in Mthatha, Eastern Cape, next month. So, there’s a lot I’m busy with currently.”
