In 2016, as a young adult, she recorded her first house song. She ventured into different genres of music, including gospel, Gqom, and Afro pop before embracing the Amapiano genre. In 2020, Boohle released an EP titled Izibongo and Siyathandana, followed by a joint album with Amapiano music producer Josiah De Disciple, titled Umbuso Wabam’nyama.
