Focalistic explained how he was bullied in Grade 8 and how he dealt with it. “So when I was in grade 8, there was a guy who used to bully me. I told him that where I come from, they don’t tolerate such and he doesn’t want to do this. One time he gave me R5 and he said I should go buy him a list of things, that time he only gave me R5 but said I should return with a lot of groceries. I obviously returned with nothing and the guy said I can’t sleep in my dorm room. That’s when I made the call and almost 15 quantums pulled up with guys inside. Focalistic is originally from Pretoria in South Africa where he lived most of his life before later decided to relocate to Midrand. The rapper had an interest in playing football for a little while, which he did while in high school and college.
He decided to enroll to study Political Science in the University of Pretoria, where he majored in Political Science. The rapper revealed in an interview that he had always loved music but just got a degree to fulfill his mother’s dream. The rapper started music of recent and has continued to make waves with every song he has dropped.
