After months of teasing fans all over the country with her new song, DBN Gogo finally dropped her single a month ago.
The track was released about a month ago, and already it has amassed over 1 million views on YouTube. Taking to social media DBN Gogo was beaming with excitement as she reacted to the news. “1 Milli in under a month,” she wrote.
The vocals and production on the track do not disappoint. The single is perfect to start the weekend and it is no wonder why the song has already gained this many views. DBN Gogo’s “Khuza Gogo” is sure to keep dance ablaze with the lyrics that are reminiscent of the underground Pitori amapiano scene where her career as a DJ began in 2017.
DBN Gogo, real name Mandisa Radebe, reportedly broke into the house music scene in 2019 and has played sets at the Basha Uhuru festival at Constitution Hill, Rocking the Daisies, Home Coming Africa and Afropunk. “Khuza Gogo” comes after her hit “FrenchKiss” featuring Felo Le Tee, Hi Levelz, Optimist Music ZA and “Dakiwe” with Lady Du which dropped at the end of last year. She wiill also be representing the country at the Yam Carnival in London taking place in August this year.
