Makhadzi In Studio With Maphorisa. Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, known by her stage name Makhadzi, is a South African singer. Born and raised in Ha-Mashamba, Limpopo, her career began at the age of 12 as dancer prior pursuing a music career. She has now become a music powerhouse to be reckoned with.
Makhadzi and DJ Maphorisa hit the studio for collaboration following a hectic week. The Ma Gear hitmaker and Open Mic Productions have been back and forth over the autorenewal of her contract which came as a shock to the singer; the public dished out several advise to her over the week.
While DJ Maphorisa spent a night in jail after his girlfriend, Thulisile Phongolo got him arrested for assaulting her. Phori was granted bail in court and Thuli reportedly withdrew the case. The two musicians have however come together to create magic despite the drama ongoing in their lives and their fans are elated about the news.
Taking to social media, Makhadzi who is set to debut an album independently prepared her fans for hit songs. “Studio session with my favourite @DjMaphorisa. Phakathi inside making them hits arivhooone,” she wrote.
“Maphorisa he is my brother, and we made hits yesterday. @DjMaphorisa I love you my brother. Actually let me wake up and bath , it’s a church day , even thou rena madiyoni ritshi dzhena nga,” she added.
News 24 reports that the celebrated Limpopo-born musician has decided to part ways with Open Mic Productions after three years. In a statement published by the publication, Makhadzi was quoted as: “I signed a three-year contract with Open Mic in March 2020. I was waiting for them to maybe talk to me about how we’ll work together, but no one came to me. That’s why I decided to send a final email to say I was aware that the contract had ended.
