“I Wish You Could See me Now” – Nkosazana Daughter Remembers Mpura. Hailing from South Africa, Nkosazana Daughter has been able to gain prominence through what she does. A talent they say speaks for you, and for the singer, it has taken her name across the country. She is the brain behind several songs that have given her a quick rise in the industry. The celebrated songwriter no doubt is a source of inspiration to many who especially women.

Nkosazana Daughter has had a good run in the South African music industry. She gained significant prominence in 2022 and worked with some of the most prominent artists in South Africa. She is known for the songs “Thula,” “Kuwe,” “Isoka,” “Umama Akekho,” “Sofa Silahlane,” “Dali Nguwe,” and more.

Nkosazana Daughter real name Nkosazana Kimberly Nzama auditioned for DJ Maphorisa on a live Instagram video introduced by Mpura. Maphorisa’s introduction to the music industry has been a blessing to many musicians who broke into the industry and made it big. She shared a heartfelt post to late Mpura on her Instagram account. kosazana Daughter posted: I wish u could see me now 

Mpura died in 2021 along with six others in a fatal head-on collision on the N4 near the Marikana toll gate in Rustenburg. Reports have it that they were heading to a gig when the accident happened. Killer Kau was also among those who died. The accident also claimed the lives of upcoming Amapiano artists Khanya Hadebe, DJ Thando Tot and TD.
