DJ Zandimaz who shot fame after her hit single ‘Emathandweni’ which features Nokwazi gained so much popularity and has become one of the amapiano hits. Since entering the music industry, the star is determined to release timeless music to keep her fans on their dance feet. The Amapiano track has over 1.8 million views on YouTube. At one time, it was number four on Shazam. Since the track’s release, it has been topping radio charts in Mzansi and Zimbabwe.
NATIONAL Arts Council of Zimbabwe (NACZ), the organisers of the country’s premier arts honors, National Arts Merit Awards (Nama), this afternoon virtually announced the list of nominees for the 20th edition of the National Arts Merit Awards (Nama) whose ceremony is set for February 26 at Harare International Conference Center. To the amapiano DJ and producer’s realisation, she made it to the list on nominees. Taking to social media to react to the news, Zandimaz shared that she is grateful to God for the achievement and milestone.
And looking at the popularity of her latest track Ngifuna Wena, the DJ is on the right track and definitely billed to reach another double platinum. To celebrate her achievements thus far, DJ Zandimaz said her fans and followersshould brace themselves for a homecoming gig as she wants to show her appreciation.“I’m planning on hosting a homecoming gig to celebrate with my people. We’re working on the logistics and will announce the venue and date once we’ve confirmed everything. I hope people will come in numbers and celebrate with me,” she said.
