1 DJ Karri is from Tshwane/Pretoria in South Africa.
2 Braveboy Music was founded by DJ Karri as a record label to assist young artists to perfect their skills with his experience in the industry.
3 He started work at Carousel Casino in 2004 as their resident DJ.
4 He later went to be a resident DJ at Pats Pub in Hammanskraal and while he was there he received a better opportunity at Chanel M night club which was the most popular club at that time.
5 DJ Karri opened Pretoria entertainment market to a lot of influential artists today and still have a great relationship with them today.
6 Aside from being on the decks, Karri is also a producer which he started mastering in 2012 but it didn’t go as planned at the time because he was discouraged at the time but he had to bounce back and get his single, 012 Lifestyle ft Prime de 1st, Kamo the vocalist and BL Zero introducing him to the world.
7 He released The Journey in 2020 ft BL Zero which did well on charts and radio stations in South Africa.
8 He later went on and released an EP, named I am Brave Boy which featured BL Zero, Violet Minis, Mantjingilane, K- Sugar and Pitso De Groove.
9 Today, he has one of the biggest amapiano song titled Trigger and it has created a #triggerdancechallenge that has seen some of the biggest stars like DJ Maphorisa, Kabza De Small, Major League DJz and a few more others participate in it.
10 The challenge was sparked by TikToker Victor Ivyic and has amassed over 17 million views on the video-sharing app.
