Focalistic Reacts To Winning 2 Major International Awards. Lethabo Sebetso, professionally known as FOCALISTIC and fondly referred to as the Pitori Maradona, is a South African recording artist and entertainer. FOCALISTIC made his first foray into music in 2016. Born and raised in Pretoria, South Africa, FOCALISTIC established a cult following while studying a Bachelor of Arts in Political Sciences at the University of Pretoria. After graduating, he chose to pursue his career in music full-time. As an artist, he believes that it is most important to relate to listeners through honest storytelling and genuine sentiment.

Focalistic had announced that he bagged 7 (seven) nominations in this year’s All Africa Music Awards. This was a huge milestone for the star considering the fact that the AFRIMA are the international awards, which is something he has always wanted, to grow the S’pitori brand outside the country. The Awards which were established by International Committee AFRIMA, in collaboration with the African Union (AU) are there to reward and celebrate musical works, talents and creativity around the African continent while promoting the African cultural heritage.

He has now won two award at the AFRIMA, being the best male Southern Africa, and Best Collaboration together with Davido for the remix of Ke Star. The Awards celebrates African music in different flavors, just like the food from the continent, the music is filled with melodious rhythms from all parts of Africa. This year’s Award is tagged Flavors of Africa edition. The grateful Focalistic took to social media to share and announce the news with his fans, thanking them for the support. Check it out:
