Listen! Kamo Mphela And Sha Sha Drop A New Amapiano Song Together. Charmaine Shamiso “Sha Sha” Mapimbiro, is a Zimbabwean-born South African singer from Mutare. Hailed by many as “the queen of amapiano”, her career began in 2011, at the age of 19 and later was discovered by Audius Mtawarira, and with the advice and experience she got working with him, her career skyrocketed from there. She was introduced to music lovers with her amapiano banger ‘Tender Love’ featuring Kabza de Small and DJ Maphorisa.
Sha Sha and Kamo Mphela have collaborated on a song together for the first time, featuring Felo Le Tee titled iPiano. Sha Sha took to social media to share her excitement as they drop the song and captioned her post: “It’s that time 🚀, super excited about this one 🚀 with the amazing @kamo_mphelaxx and @feloletee , a special thanks to everyone who helped make this happen so thankful ❤️ it is now available on all music platforms, click link on BIO.” Check it out:
The BET Award-winning singer, who comes from a family of academics, went in pursuit of a career in entertainment, breaking the norm with her family’s choice of careers. While figuring out her sound and way around the industry, Sha Sha reveals that it was a cab driver who introduced her to Maphorisa in 2017.“At that time, that driver was the one who helped me get to certain places and gigs. One day he asked me what I did and I told him I was an artist, he then said he’d like to link me up with Maphorisa,” she said.
Kamo Mphela on the other parlayed her high profile as an amapiano dancer into a musical career, successfully transferring her physical swagger into a magnetic vocal presence. Her first forays into the entertainment industry were as a dancer and event MC in high school. After posting a series of viral dance videos on social media, that’s when she started her music career.
