Reason Reacts To DBN Gogo’s “Wig Snatching” Incident At A Gig. Since she was a little girl Mandisa Radebe – better known as DBN Gogo – has loved music. She would belt out bangers at the top of her lungs while playing the piano at her parents’ home in Pretoria.

DBN Gogo recently had a gig in Pretoria, and she shared her experience while playing there and how they nearly”snatched” her wig. Amapiano rapper Reason also reacted to the incident, laughing at the matter asking what was she doing at a club with a few thousands on her head. “What you doing walking around the club with a few thousands on your head??? Uzolimala.”

Speaking on how her moniker came about, Gogo explained that it came from a conversation she was having with her friends. “We were having girl talk & we were on our way to Bushfire Festival in Swaziland. We were just having girl talk, talking about sex & my one friend said that where she’s from, they call the reverse missionary “iDeben Gogo” & they’ve been calling me that since.”

“It’s something I’ve always wanted to do. I’ve always just been very musical. I used to play the piano, sing and dance. Music sort of found me,” she says. Although somewhat new to the music scene she’s fast making a name for herself at major events like Ultra South Africa, Rosefest, the Vodacom Durban July and last month’s MTV Strongbow BIG Picnic, and in 2021 she has been overseas.
