Here’s Why JazziQ Advices People Not To Test For COVID-19. Tumelo Manyoni known professionally as Mr JazziQ, is a South African Amapiano DJ and record producer. He was best known for being a member of the amapiano DJ duo, JazziDisciples. With the covid-19 cases increasing, artists have shared their concern over the fear of being prevented to work during festive season like last year 2020.

JazziQ took to social media to share that people must not test for COVID-19 to avoid being in lockdown during December. A follower of his replied saying JazziQ is misleading them, and JazziQ responded saying he’s helping him to not stay at home during festive season.

President Ramaphosa announced on 28 November that South Africa would remain at lockdown level 1 for now as the government looks at increasing the vaccination rate to combat the fourth wave of infections. However, he also warned that managing the pandemic in this way — and limiting disruptions to the economy — is not sustainable if South Africans do not adhere to basic health precautions.

South Africa’s hospitality industry says the government needs to look at all the options it can before reintroducing damaging lockdown regulations.Fedhasa, the national trade association for the hospitality industry, pointed to the government’s recent decision to extend the national state of disaster to 15 December 2021 as a point of concern ahead of the busy holiday period.“As an industry, we are not insensitive to the fact that balancing lives and livelihoods is an impossible task and we understand that sacrifices have to be made. However, hotels and restaurants are not just a non-essential lifestyle activity which can be switched on and off to stem the spread of Covid,” said Rosemary Anderson, Fedhasa national chair.
