DJ Maphorisa is set to take ‘Biri Marung’ to even greater heights with a highly anticipated remix featuring Nigerian superstar Davido. The Amapiano pioneer recently previewed the remix at a club, sending fans into a frenzy as they got a taste of the upcoming track.

Originally released as a collaboration between Mr Pilato, Ego SlimFlo, Tebogo G Mashego, Sje Konka, Focalistic, Xduppy, Scotts Maphuma, CowBoii, and DJ Maphorisa, ‘Biri Marung’ has already dominated the charts and social media, becoming a viral sensation. The song reached #1 on the Official South African Single Charts, #3 on Shazam’s global rankings, and #12 on the Global Spotify Viral Chart. With over 1.7 million TikTok creations and 2 billion views, the track has proven to be a massive success.

Now, Davido’s addition to the remix is expected to amplify the song’s international appeal. As an artist who has successfully blended Afrobeats with various global sounds, Davido’s presence on the remix will introduce ‘Biri Marung’ to an even broader audience.

The ‘Biri Marung’ remix is set to be part of DJ Maphorisa and Xduppy’s upcoming joint project, which boasts an impressive lineup of 50 songs.

The announcement has fans buzzing with excitement, as the duo promises an unforgettable musical experience filled with fresh collaborations and unique Amapiano sounds.

This collaboration marks another major moment for Amapiano and Afrobeats, two genres that have been merging more frequently in recent years. Davido has previously expressed his love for Amapiano, having worked with artists like Focalistic and Musa Keys on past hits. With ‘Biri Marung’ already making waves globally, the remix is expected to further solidify Amapiano’s global dominance.

As fans eagerly await the official release date, one thing is certain: DJ Maphorisa and Davido are about to set the industry on fire!
