Amapiano’s favorite couple, Daliwonga and Tarryn Reid, have reportedly called it quits after more than a year of being together. The duo, who captured the hearts of fans on social media, were known for their public displays of affection and their shared love for music. Tarryn, one-half of the popular DJ duo TxC, and Daliwonga, a successful Amapiano vocalist, seemed to be the perfect match—until rumors of infidelity surfaced.

According to a close friend who spoke to ZiMoja, the breakup was triggered by cheating allegations against Tarryn. “The girl is the one who cheated,” the source revealed. The incident is said to have occurred around the time they were shooting the music video for “Yebo,” a song by Nigerian superstar Davido. While the source did not delve into the specifics, they suggested that the betrayal was significant enough to end the relationship. “She cheated and got caught,” the source added.

Following the breakup, Daliwonga is rumored to have moved on with influencer Amahle Siphungu. Despite the public nature of his previous relationship, Daliwonga is reportedly keeping a low profile this time around. The close friend mentioned that the singer was deeply hurt by the breakup, especially since he had made the bold move of posting Tarryn on social media—a rare gesture for a public figure. “He posted her on social media; that’s a big deal for a public figure. He vowed not to post any girl again unless she is serious,” the friend explained.

When approached for comment, Daliwonga was reticent about discussing his personal life, stating, “I just want to keep that part of my life private.” Similarly, Tarryn’s management team opted not to comment on the situation, simply responding with, “No comment, please.”

The news of their breakup has left fans disappointed, as many had admired their relationship and looked up to them as a power couple in the Amapiano scene. The end of their romance serves as a reminder that even the most seemingly perfect relationships can face challenges behind closed doors.

As both artists continue to focus on their careers, fans will undoubtedly keep a close eye on their future endeavors, both in music and in their personal lives.
