Due to the success of recent single, Hade Boss, the multi-award winner and Genre Pioneer, DJ Lag, responds with a re-make featuring artists who one can only describe as “BOSS”. The Re-up features the voice of DJ Maphorisa, Kamo Mphela as well as Robot Boii, 2woshort, Xduppy, Mr Nation and K.C Driller who add their distinctive signature to this viral dance sensation.
Since the track’s release in January this year, DJ Lag’s Hade Boss (with co-creators Mr Nation and K.C Driller) has achieved Gold status in SA, been nominated for a METRO FM award, and displayed it’s true ‘Boss’ energy with over 600M views and 438K creations on TikTok, as well as being added to Africa’s biggest playlists, radio stations and viral charts.
After cementing his influence on the culture, grabbing his first SAMA award late last year, DJ Lag continues to fly the SA flag globally, with a recently completed USA tour, and some major venues and festivals planned over the coming months in Europe, UK and USA. Since the release of Hade Boss, DJ Lag was also featured on Apple Music’s coveted Beats in Space, and launched a new DJ mix series International Pantsula.
