Dlala Thukzin has hit a remarkable milestone in his career as his chart-topping single “iPlan” achieves double platinum status. The achievement is not only a testament to his musical prowess but also a celebration of his journey from a small township on the South Coast of Durban to international acclaim.

Born and raised in Lamontville, a quaint township on the South Coast of Durban, Dlala Thukzin, whose real name is Thuthuka Zindlovu, is a testament to the power of passion, perseverance, and talent. Lamontville is known for nurturing surfers and lifeguards, but it also gave birth to a musical prodigy who would make waves in the industry. Dlala Thukzin’s love affair with music began at a young age, a passion ignited by spending time with his uncle, who was a DJ. This early exposure to the world of beats and rhythms laid the foundation for a promising career in music.

At just 12 years old, Thukzin took his first steps into the world of DJing, gracing local Durban clubs with his talent. Places like Havana Music Café and Joe Cools became the stages where he honed his craft, and it was in these venues that he crossed paths with individuals who shared his musical vision.

One of the defining moments in Dlala Thukzin’s career came when he received a call from West Ink Records, a testament to his growing reputation and skills as a producer. He was invited to co-produce Babes Wodumo’s debut studio album, which resonated with fans and became a resounding success.

In 2020, Dlala Thukzin released his first label EP, “Permanent Music.” This milestone project featured collaborations with industry heavyweights such as DJ Tira, Joocy, GoldMax of Distruction Boyz, and more. The EP garnered immense attention and acclaim, accumulating over 2 million streams and earning a gold plaque in recognition of its achievements.

Now, Dlala Thukzin’s journey has reached another pinnacle with his single “iPlan” reaching double platinum status. The track has resonated with audiences far and wide, catapulting the artist into the stratosphere of musical success.
