A-reece Drops A Single Featuring DJ Maphorisa. Lehlogonolo Ronald Mataboge, known professionally as A-Reece, is a South African rapper, songwriter and record producer. He was raised in Pretoria, Gauteng. A-Reece is considered to be one of the most successful & most lyrical rappers in Africa.
A-Reece has finally dropped his highly-anticipated body of work DEADLINES: FREE P2 and the award-winning rapper had everybody talking on the Twitter timeline. Building up to the Paradise hitmaker’s music project release, DJ Maphorisa came through on his Instagram Live and warned the fans that A-Reece will be dropping new music soon. “A-Reece will be dropping next week baba,” said DJ Maphorisa.
The project comes with seven tracks with features from industry peers such as Emtee, Marcus Harvey and his brother Jay Jody. The said features were deemed to be the obvious picks and contributors to his project, but no one ever anticipated DJ Maphorisa to be on one of the songs.
A-Reece left most SA hip-hop fans spellbound after he managed to hop on an Afro-beat with the famed DJ Maphorisa featuring Jay Jody on the song ‘Something To Fight For.’ Even though his feature with Emtee also managed to get the spotlight, the joint featuring DJ Maphorisa had everyone on the Twitter timeline craving for some more A-Reece and Phori’s collaboration
