Zuma Reacts To Reaching 1 Million Views On Instagram. Reece Madlisa and Zuma are the individuals behind the surprise rise of amapiano musical duo, AmaRoto. The word is a tsotsi taal term for rats, which is commonly used in townships to describe the large rats which run amok in certain areas of South Africa. One of the townships which is known for having a rodent issue is Alexandra, which is located in the north of Johannesburg.

Zuma has been in the music industry for about two years now, however his growth in the music, entertainment and fashion industry is already visible and has created a name for him. He recently took to social media to share that he has reached 1 million followers on Instagram. See post:

Considering that the two musicians are from Alexandra, the name is an ode to their township. They are often confused for brothers, however, they have indicated that they are just close childhood friends. More than that, Reece Madlisa has also indicated that Zuma, real name Sabelo Zuma, used to look up to him when they were younger. Although, he has now found his own voice and interests as they have grown older. The duo also made it clear that they are not blood related when they shared a statement in September 2021, announcing a death in Zuma’s family and not Madlisa’s.
