1 LeeMakrazy’s real name is Linda Mnisi.
2 The star was born in Diepkloof Zone 5, Soweto.
3 In putting together his latest album, LeeMakrazy has worked with exciting talent like Sinny Man’Que, Nobantu Vilakazi, DJ Jaivane, Dsax, Sims, Fiso El Musica, TribeSoul and Amu Classic.
4 He easily got attention from the public because of his unique sound. His single Eloyi has been doing well on digital platforms, getting streamed and downloaded. The single has received 1.3-million streams since its release.
5 LeeMakrazy, who is a multitalented individual, is also a fine artist who specialises in drawings using pencil.
6 The young singer says when he went into the studio, he was looking for a sound that will standout with amapiano sound.“I called the album Intando ka God because releasing the album has always been my wish. When it finally happened in December I felt that it was God’s wish for it to happen. I know the title on its own makes you believe that it is a gospel album, but it is not.”
7 Intando ka God comprises 13 tracks that are composed by the singer and songwriter himself. The album is packed with songs about love, fun and groovy and club songs. “The inspiration behind the songs varies. Some songs speak about life challenges while others touch on fun life of grooving, drinking and partying. There’s also a song that speaks about love and its challenges.”
8 After learning the ropes of the music industry while working with the likes of DJ Stoks, DJ Givy Baby, Fiso El Musica, Soa Mattrix, Ben Da Prince, Sir Trill, Daliwonga, Matiwane, Dalindyebo Matiwane and Entity MusiQ, LeeMakrazy felt ready and equipped to pursue his solo album.
9 LeeMaKrazy, who has just completed his degree in transport management and logistics, is pleased that music lovers have embraced his music.“As a new artist I am happy that music lovers love and appreciate my music. The warm welcome in the industry is everything. It shows that whatever I am doing, people like it and it make sense. So far, the industry has been treating me well. I know people complain about gigs, but I have been getting them and I appreciate all that as a newbie.”
10 If he is not singing and composing music for himself and the Diepkloof United Male Voices, LeeMakrazy plays soccer for Diepkloof Hellenic. He started off as a soccer player for the under- 21 at Mamelodi Sundowns.
