Watch! Lady Du Teaches Mexico President The ‘Jerusalema’ Dance. Dudu Ngwenya aka Lady Du, is currently one of the hottest voices in amapiano. Born into a family of musicians, her father DJ Choc and uncle DJ Zan D are reputable deejays and producers.

Lady Du took to social media to share a video of herself teaching the president of Mexico the famous ‘Jerusalema’ dance. She was also honoured with an appreciation certificate while in Mexico. “It is such moments where you realise this is no longer about you, guess who had the president of Mexico dancing last night after they gave us appreciation certificates 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 @cyrilramaphosa thank you for choosing us to represent you in mexico 🙆🏽‍♂️🙆🏽‍♂️🙆🏽‍♂️ to the president of Mexico Thank you for receiving us well treating us like royalty 🙏🔥🔥 @nomcebo_zikode @masterkgsa,” she said.

She further wrote: “Amapiano/ South Africa to the world!!!! @cyrilramaphosa you could have chosen anyone but you chose @iam_ph and myself I am sooo humbled by this. Thank you for sharing our talent with the world. We were not only celebrated by the country but by the president aswell. I thank you my president.”

Speaking on her excitement for amapiano crossing the international boarders, the star said: “And it’s about time! I feel like South Africans have always had the talent and flavour, but lacked connections and contacts. If the latter hadn’t been an issue, then kwaito would have gone international. Amapiano, New Age kwaito if you may, is smashing boundaries at the moment! We’re coming for everything they said we couldn’t get.”
