Cassper Reveals Who He Thinks Is The Biggest Amapiano Act In The World. Cassper Nyovest who recently jumped into amapiano has been making headlines ever since. With him having jumped into the hottest genre at the moment, he received quite some positive comments regarding his versatility.

Cassper took to social media to reveal who he thinks is the biggest amapiano act in the world, and he chose none other than Major League DJz duo. The twins have been working towards introducing amapiano to a wider audience outside the country, and they have done successfully so within the past few months. “I love seeing my niggas shine!!! Major League is killing it right now!!! Definitely the biggest Piano Act in the world!!! Onwards Boyz!!! Keep flying the flag!!!!,” he wrote.

Having hosted shows for Fat Joe, 50 Cent and Akon, Major League DJz have proven to be one of the most formidable duos in South Africa. Mixing together hip hop, amapiano, and more, the duo have been playing the South African sound overseas. No-one throws a party like identical twins Banele and Bandile Mbere, known as musical duo Major League DJz. Planning events has been in their blood since high school. Even the Joburg social calendar would not be complete without their hip-hop and yano music festival Major League Gardens that has featured headliners Cassper Nyovest, Riky Rick and Davido.

While the 30-year-old stars admit to have taken a knock like many event organisers during the pandemic’s lockdown, they are not staying down. “To have that income not coming in has been tough. Sure we have done online stuff, but it’s not as much money as the festivals would have done,” Bandile admitted.

To combat for the disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, they have started a YouTube web-series Amapiano Live Balcony Mix Africa that sees them performing live sets. Since its inception last year, the web-series has featured guest appearances by Kabza De Small and Mr JazziQ.
