Black Twitter Shows De Mthuda Love For Dropping His Much Anticipated Single. Mthuthuzeli Khoza has made a name for himself as De Mthuda in amapiano circles, first as a club DJ around South Africa and then as a producer. De Mthuda who has been the man of the people since last year, and better known for his caption “There is no King” which started trending on social media after Kabza de small dropped his last debut project which he gave a dominating title “I am the king of amapiano album“, since then Mthuda have stepped up his game and thus proving the world wrong as he know the potential he has.
Black Twitter is currently showing De Mthuda love as he tops trends list following one of his much anticipated single ‘Jola’ which he just dropped.
Some of his efforts were seen on some of his last productions like “John Wick” where he featured Ntokzin and Sir Trill, also on Lalela alongside Ntokzin, Njelic and Malumnator, and then rounded it all with his Ace Of Spades EP. Extensive work with vocalist Njelic led to hits like “Shesha,” which filled dance floors in 2019. De Mthuda created a solid bedrock for Samthing Soweto’s vocals on the singer’s 2020 EP Danko!, fusing the signature drum lock sound of amapiano with the jazzy chords that define the Johannesburg-based producer’s sonic approach. But he didn’t stop there as he continues to build a legacy within the Amapiano scene.
