Cassper To Embark On An International Amapiano Tour. Refiloe Maele Phoolo, fondly known as Cassper Nyovest by his fans, has joined the amapiano train and has since been making waves in the genre. The star is among the amapiano artists introducing amapiano to an even wider audience.
Following his amapiano debut album he released recently which has been gaining fans both in the country andoutside the star is barking on an amapiano international tour in Ghana, UK, and Dubai He wrote, “I’m in Ghana for the next 10 Days then we out in The UK for 2 shows then we do Dubai. The star further said that he hates travelling considering the flights, airports, hours, and everything that makes the experience tiring and uncomfortable while travelling, however, he mentioned that he loves being in new places and is anticipating for his tour in Ghana. “I hate traveling but I looooove seeing new places, faces, cultures and experiences. It’s the flights , airport lay overs and hours that I hate. I just wanna get there already. Can’t wait to land in Ghana! See how the people react to my record with Sarkodie! Married to the game!,” he wrote.
Cassper Nyovest left fans cheering on the TL after the release of his amapiano debut album Short And Sweet 2.0.. The highly anticipated album comes after the success of his amapiano single Siyathandana that left fans believing the star has a real stake in the genre. Short And Sweet 2.0 brings the amapiano genre further into the forefront of the SA music scene with that Cassper Nyovest authenticity. Abidoza, Samthing Soweto, Lady Du, Boohle and Cassper’s baby boy Khotso feature on the album.
The amapiano album is Cassper’s sixth studio album and the body of work is a 10-track release which is a continuation of the exploration which began with his 2018 fourth studio album Short and Sweet. On 2.0 Cassper continues to explore his voice within amapiano as a pioneer of blending hip hop and the current dominant sound of the yanos. The album also gave Cass his first radio chart-topping single with Siyathandana.
