Major League DJz Announce The Amapiano Duo To Feature Next On Balcony Live Mix. Major League DJz who have been hitting the industry for a while now admitted to have taken a hard knock like other artists due to COVID-19. However, to combat for the disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, they started a YouTube web-series Amapiano Live Balcony Mix Africa that sees them performing live sets. Since its inception last year, the web-series has featured guest appearances by Kabza De Small, DJ Maphorisa, Busta 929, FOCALISTIC, Mr JazziQ, and a few others. They are now gearing up for their next feature.
As they recently entered into the third season since their Amapiano Balcony Live Mix premiered. This time, the stars one of the most featured amapiano duo Reece Madlisa and Zuma. Major League DJz took to social media to share the announcement with their fans. See post:
Zuma and Reece Madlisa have been the talk of town recently considering their contribution to amapiano genre. They have released and also featured in some of biggest amapiano songs in the country.
In the lockdown period, Major League DJz have been working on lots of music, resulting in the release of two projects last year – Pianochella! and What’s The Levol. Smash hits Le Plane E’Landile and Dinaledi have kept South Africans moving. “The only way to perform is on the charts, so the more music we put out the better,” Bandile says.
“Since we are not performing like we used to, we can’t even judge how big our songs are. The only thing you can do is make music and hope that it performs well on the charts,” Banele said.
