Cassper Nyovest Discloses The Amapiano Artist He Feels Deserved The BET Nomination. Today, BET announces the “BET AWARDS” 2021 nominees for the Viewer’s Choice Award: Best New International Act. This year’s nominees reflect an abundance of creative expression and Black excellence across music, television, film, and sports. The “BET AWARDS” 2021 will air LIVE, Sunday, June 27 on BET at 8 pm ET/ PT. Following last year’s ground-breaking virtual awards show, the “BET AWARDS” returns this year with a live show audience.

The BET recognises artists, entertainers, and athletes across 21 categories with The “BET Awards” 2021 nominations. The ‘Viewer’s Choice Award: Best New International Act’ was recently announced and the likes of Cassper Nyovest was not happy with who they left out. Cassper expressed that Amapino star, Focalistic deserved to be nominated. See tweet:

Another fan also opened up about Focalistic not making it to the nominations. “Where’s Focalistic ??? Not having Foca on this one is a big BET disappointment anyhow, he’ll continue making waves with or without BET, watch the space. Amapiano to the world,” wrote the social media user.

The nominees for the new category are: Arloparks, Bramsito, MC Dricka, breerunway, Elaine, Ronisiam, and temsbaby. The nominations are selected by BET’s Voting Academy, which is composed of fans and an esteemed group of entertainment professionals in the fields of television, film, music, social media, digital marketing, sports journalism, public relations, and creative arts.
