The stylish rapper entertains his fans with a unique style and he has not stopped displaying his rap skills even though he is now an amapiano hit maker.
Focalistic is not about resting or taking a chil pill when it comes to his music career, as he goes hard with African collaborations. The star is now cooking new music with one of Tanzanian biggest music star, Diamond Platnumz. This comes after the star shared their pictures together in studio and hanging out.
Speaking on working with Diamond Platnumz, Foca said: “I just did a song with Diamond Platnumz. This is going to be a dope one. Big, big, big too. For me, I’m open to many collaborations. I just enjoy the genuine ones, as well, because even with Diamond Platnumz, when we were in Tanzania, he came to the show that I was on and he hopped on just after me. So, when I felt the energy there, there was pandemonium, people seeing him on stage. I understood that I needed a song with this guy because, at the end of the day, that energy is the energy we get in South Africa and he gets it in Tanzania. So imagine it and put it together and we put together those fan bases. You get magic.”
His latest ad most successful collabo with an artist outside South Africa was with Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido, on the remix of ‘Ke Star’. The song was an official introduction of amapiano to the Nigerian publc. The song was well received by fans and even got a nod from US Time Magazine, as the only best African song to come out of 2021 so far.
