Amapiano star Young Stunna is preparing to enter a new chapter in his music career with his upcoming single “Balinde”, featuring South African hip-hop heavyweight Blxckie and rising producer and artist Sly.
The highly anticipated track is scheduled for release on 23 September 2026 and will serve as the lead single from Young Stunna’s upcoming second studio album. The release marks the beginning of the rollout for his next body of work, which fans have been eagerly anticipating.
Young Stunna announced the single on Instagram alongside its official artwork, revealing the collaborators and release date while sharing how personally meaningful the song is to him.
“BALINDE. w/ @blxckie_ & @sly_mndawe 23 / 09 / 26.

The title “Balinde”, which can be understood as “let them wait”, adds another layer to the release following the anticipation surrounding Young Stunna’s return. As the lead single, the track signals that the wait for his next album is beginning to come to an end.
Young Stunna and Blxckie are no strangers to working together. The two artists previously appeared on K.O’s hit “SETE”, before reconnecting on their 2026 collaboration “Alupheli”. Their latest link-up now sees Sly joining the pair, bringing another creative element to the upcoming single.
“Balinde” arrives five years after Young Stunna released his debut album, “Notumato”, a project that played an important role in establishing his identity within the Amapiano scene.
His upcoming sophomore album is expected to explore several themes, including “Impilo”, meaning life, “Isiko”, referring to tradition and culture, “Ulonwabo”, meaning happiness, and “Ukholo”, centred around faith and belief.
The album is expected to arrive later in 2026, with October among the anticipated release periods. “Balinde” will therefore introduce listeners to the ideas and sound that will shape the next phase of Young Stunna’s career.
Known for his distinctive vocals and energetic delivery, Young Stunna has continued to establish himself as one of the recognisable voices of the new generation of Amapiano. Blxckie brings his versatile rap and R&B approach to the collaboration, while Sly adds his production and artistic style.
With “Balinde” officially scheduled for 23 September, Young Stunna is ready to give fans their first taste of his upcoming album and begin what promises to be an exciting new chapter in his musical journey.
