Mashup Masters returns with its final Episode 5, bringing together two very different approaches to South African music as rising Amapiano vocalist Thatohatsi joins forces with powerhouse ensemble The Vocals.
The latest episode continues the series’ celebration of unexpected musical combinations, pairing Thatohatsi’s distinctive Amapiano vocal style with The Vocals’ dynamic harmonies and commanding group sound. “Amapiano has such a unique energy, and we wanted to see how we could make that energy work with our voices,” the ensemble explained.
