Popular Amapiano DJ and producer Mr JazziQ is at the center of social media drama once again after an intimate photo of him in bed with a young, unidentified woman leaked online. The image, which quickly circulated across platforms, has caused a wave of reactions—from amusement to sharp criticism.
A controversial social media figure @ChrisExcel102 shared the now-viral screenshot showing Mr JazziQ, real name Tumelo Manyoni, cozying up in bed with a woman flashing a peace sign and sticking out her tongue. In the post’s caption, Chris Excel drew comparisons between Mr JazziQ and fellow Amapiano star Busta 929, who previously faced similar public scrutiny.
“Our brother JazziQ following on Busta 929’s footsteps now 😭😭😭,” the post read.
While the full context of the image remains unclear, it didn’t stop the public from dissecting it in real time. The woman’s identity remains unknown, and there is no confirmation whether the moment was consensually shared or secretly leaked—but the damage is done. The image trended within hours, with #MrJazziQ and #JazziQLeaked dominating X (formerly Twitter).
Fans and critics weighed in heavily:
Some asked, “Do you prefer he chows the single mothers you are always cooking?”
Others expressed, saying, “They all chow 2K girls, we just don’t have proof. 🤦”
A few defended the DJ, saying people should let artists live their private lives in peace.
Known for keeping his romantic relationships out of the public eye, Mr JazziQ has rarely commented on his personal affairs. However, this incident has brought unwanted attention to a part of his life he has previously guarded carefully.
As of now, Mr JazziQ has not released any public statement addressing the photo or the online backlash. Whether he chooses to clarify the situation or maintain his silence remains to be seen.
The leak has once again highlighted the ongoing debate around privacy, fame, and the expectations placed on public figures—especially in South Africa’s ever-vibrant Amapiano scene.
One thing is certain: while Mr JazziQ continues to shape the sound of Amapiano, his off-stage moments are now just as much a part of the conversation as his music.
