Amapiano heavyweights Tycoon and Mdu aka TRP have just shaken the streets with a major announcement — the two have teamed up for a joint album titled “Khoto Series,” set to drop soon. The news came with a double treat as they also revealed the release of their first single “S’hamba Nabo” featuring the rising star CowBoii, which drops this Friday, July 4th.
The announcement was made on Tycoon’s social media, sending fans into a frenzy. He captioned the post: “Khoto Series. July 4th. ‘S’hamba Nabo’ alongside @cowboii_rsa out This Friday,” giving fans a clear heads-up that new heat is on the way.
Both Tycoon and Mdu aka TRP are celebrated for their production mastery and melodic genius, and their decision to unite creatively is already being called one of the biggest Amapiano collaborations of the year. The upcoming single “S’hamba Nabo” features CowBoii, a fast-rising voice in the Amapiano wave who’s been turning heads with his unique vocal style and fresh presence. This feature not only adds flavor to the record but also hints at a possible showcase of new talent throughout the album.
Excitement is running high, with fans already speculating about the tracklist, other possible features, and the overall direction of the project. If this first single is anything to go by, Khoto Series could very well set a new standard in the genre, blending underground Amapiano textures with mainstream appeal.
The collaboration marks an important moment in the genre, as it brings together two influential forces whose music has helped shape the current Amapiano landscape. Their chemistry in the studio is already being praised based on teasers and behind-the-scenes snippets circulating online.
As the countdown begins for “S’hamba Nabo” this Friday, fans can expect a fresh wave of bangers leading into what promises to be one of the most anticipated Amapiano albums of 2025.
